Kenny Baer has been with Baer Wealth Management since his graduation from Elon University in 2002. Kenny is born and raised in Atlanta and prides himself in being involved with the local community. Kenny is a volunteer baseball coach at Northside Youth Organization (NYO); and in the summer of 2010 his 10 year old travel team won the State Championship Tournament held in Ringgold, GA.
Kenny Baer is a certified teacher in the ABC method of conservative investing and has spoken at conferences throughout the United States espousing the benefits of such an approach. Kenny has also been published in Investment Advisor Magazine speaking to the benefits of an Open Architecture practice, currently co-host the radio show “The Money Gurus” with Patrick Maffett and previously co-hosted “The Baer Facts” with his father Bill. Kenny Baer has been interviewed on Atlanta Business Daily and created a Money Minute that aired daily on AM stations throughout Atlanta. Kenny is also a new father and proud parent of Sunny Elizabeth Baer, born December 18th, 2011.
Patrick K. Maffett joined Baer Wealth Management in 2011. He is currently a candidate for his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Patrick graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in Management/Finance. He is a native of Roswell, Georgia and currently resides in Buckhead. He is an avid student of finance and economics. His professional focus is on investment analysis and portfolio management. Patrick mostly subscribes to a value investing philosophy and, as such, is a follower of some of the world’s most successful value investors, such as Warren Buffett and Benjamin Graham. In his spare time, Patrick enjoys tennis, fly fishing, rock climbing, and hunting.
