New Lineup Starting Monday, April 13

What great line up..I’m glad you will be have Imus in the Morning..His old station here in Atlanta played mostly music so I would switch back and fourth.
Now I can just leave my radio tuned to 1160 all day…

Strong morning/mid day line up, I am curious regarding Jerry Doyle as I have never listened to his show.

I don’t have much of an opinion about adding Imus, but I do about taking an hour away from Laura Ingraham and moving Dr. Laura to 9 PM. Those were the only two shows I tuned in for. Looks like I will be looking for my favorites on other stations . . . BUMMER!

I look forward to getting to hear the entire Imus show in the morning. I like oldies, but it was Imus that got me to that station and now i have a great alternative to the bla, bla, bla, of other radio stations. Hooray!

I’ve never listened to the Imus show, so I don’t care one way or the other about him being in the line-up. Laura Ingraham is the only show I tune in for so I’m glad that she is still in the line up, even though an hour later. Previously the hour from 12:00 to 1:00 was a repeat of the first hour, anyway, but the problem for me is that now she and Rush Limbaugh will overlap at noon. I also wish your signal could improve in the midtown area. It is better than it was in the beginning when Laura Ingraham first joined your line-up, but still not as strong as some of the other talk am stations.

I wish you hadn’t gotten me hooked on Dr. Laura and gone straight to Doyle when O’Reilly stopped doing radio. And no Dennis Miller in the afternoon…double blech! Kind of an odd move to move the Mancow Morning Madness to PM Drive.

I am most disappointed that Dr. Laura has been moved to 9:00 pm. There is nothing for me to listen to now on this radio station.

If asked, I would have chosen Denis Miller over Don Imus. I like Don Imus’ show, and look forward to hearing it all (without the music breaks from the old station). I am severely disappointed that Denis Miller is no longer on the station, however.

Dr Laura- you moved her to a bad time.

Dennis Miller- You killed him? R U crazy. His is perhaps the best show on radio. Very little politics. Lots of great interviews and humor. I ll get him on the NET now.

Mankow- Come on. I not in high school anymore.

Imus- Grumpy old man not my cup of tea.

I agree that now that Dr Laura has moved to 9pm I will no longer be listening to your station. Bad move on your part.

P.S. You have been asking for weeks what talk show host would we like to hear. How about Dr. Laura at an earlier hour. Being outside the perimeter, we can’t pick her up at 9pm.

You lost me as a listener! The only reason I tune into your station is for Dr. Laura and I will not be listening to you at 9PM to catch her show. I will have to go to the internet instead. Bad idea!

Dr. Laura in the afternoon got me to switch over to your station from a competitor. Now that you moved her to a bad (and short) time slot, I’ll just stay with your competitor all day. Really a bad move on your part. Lost another listener…

I do NOT like the new line-up. Dr. Laura is one of my favorites and I can’t even hear your station after dark, even though I live in Decatur. Mancow is an immature show and Imus has never been one I’d tune into. I like Laura Ingraham very much, so now that’s the only time I’ll ever listen to your station. What was wrong with the previous line-up — for me, it was much better!

Tried to listen to Mancow today. he was playing the one hit wonders of the 80′s. Do you really think he is a better choice than Dr. Laura???

What will it take to get Dr. laura back on during the afternoon time slot? 9:00 pm is a ridiculous time and totally impractical. Is losing listeners enough to make 1160 AM change or does it have to be a more concentrated effort by bombarding the station with emails and phone calls?

Yes, its official, I have found new internet radio channels to listen to Dr. Laura and Laura Ingraham. Never enjoyed Mancow or Miller and sorry, I agree with martan: Imus just sounds like a grumpy old man. Off to delete news talk 1160 off my list of favorites.

Please, bring Dr. Laura back to her origina time!! I love her program, and my teenage son was starting to get hooked on it, too. We can’t get your signal at night despite the fact we live in Sandy Springs. Not that fond of Imus, but do enjoy Laura Ingraham. Dr. Laura is our favorite!! Why did you make this change???

To try and get Dr. Laura back on try sending an email to listeners@newstalk1160.com. I was told to do that when I called the station.

Bad move getting rid of Dr. Laura in the afternoon. I got several of my friends listening to your station for her, and I always enjoyed listening on my way home from work ( I work half days).
I have tried listening to Jerry Doyle and just can’t get into it. Guess we’ll be tuning in to Rush!

WTH did you move Dr Laura to mornings? Bad Move!!! There goes my lunch hour entertainment – thanks for nothing!

Correction to my earlier post – mornings, evening whatever! You really need to get Dr. Laura back to the 1:00pm hour. She’s a breath of fresh air at a time of day when we could use a mental break from the major drags the other hosts are!

I am sorry to see Dr. Laura moved to evenings when I can’t pick up your weak signal. I would like to see her move back to daytime hours.

Please move Dr. Laura back to Afternoon hours. I can not get a signal in ther evening and most MOMS are not listening to the radio in the evening hours between 9pm and 11pm. I am very dissapointed in the change!

keep dr. laura at night I do not care for her but the others i love to listen to.
