2. We contact Linda Schneider at Jewish Family and Career Services with job vacancies, as her organization, which assists people of all backgrounds, races, ethnicities, and religious affiliations, requests job vacancy information.
3. We are in frequent contact with the career planning offices of area colleges and universities, including Agnes Scott College, a women’s college; Emory University; Georgia State University; and Kennesaw State University. We send them information about job vacancies when positions become available.
4. We notify the Atlanta Broadcast Institute, which works to train and place people in media and broadcast-related jobs, with all vacancies.

D. Recruitment Activities
The following FCC recommended recruitment activities were engaged in during the period covered by this Report:
1. Type of Activity: Internship Program
JW Broadcasting has established an internship program to give college students and interested adults the opportunity to gain real-world broadcasting experience at both NewsTalk 1160 WCFO-AM and AM 1690 WMLB “The Voice of the Arts.” In the Dec. 2010-Dec. 2011 period, we hosted four interns. Lottie Lott’s internship began in January 2011, Leah Kuenzi’s internship began in February 2011, Amanda Thames’ internship began in March 2011, and Jude Gelman’s internship began in April 2011. Each internship lasted for eight weeks.
2. Type of Activity: Participation in Outreach Events
JW Broadcasting sponsors and participates in community festivals and events. At such events, station representatives are present to speak with the public and share information about employment opportunities, as well as discuss what goes into a broadcasting career. Additionally, we utilize such events to get feedback from listeners and community members as to how our stations can better serve them.
3. Type of Activity: Hosting Community Groups
JW Broadcasting has welcomed community groups, such as scout organizations and college classes, to tour our facilities and learn about careers in radio broadcasting.
4. Type pf Activity: Listing Vacancies in Database of Media Organization
JW Broadcasting contacts the Atlanta Broadcast Institute, which works to train and place people in media and broadcast-related jobs, with all vacancies.
